Dec. 2nd, 2005

I was the first one in the door for the Xbox 360 at Game. I don't have one though. And there is now probably not a single one left in the whole of Sheffield. Nay, the country.
Either those without pre-orders have settled for the Core Systems. Or people are going in later today to picked up their reserved Xbox 360 Systems.

Part of me wishes I hadn't bothered but largely I'm pleased I stayed up all night and then trudged out at 7, stood outside some shops for at least an hours worth total after you add them all up and then came home empty handed.

Looks like its a Nintendo DS for Christmas. o_O

..not really there thought. EU have put small import quoters on them and because of the hardware value of the machine they can only import so many at a time Per month. After March then it will be a new finnacial year so the quotes will be back to zero and you will have a flood of unit. Its why all console in the EU for the last 10 years have always been in March. >.<

(There was a BBC program about it)

Sux about the Xbox, man. :( And you KNOW they're only doing it to drive up demand.

But, now that you're getting DS... X) You'll want Mario 64 DS, Advance Wars DS, and Mario Kart DS. These are the most rewarding games I've found for the DS so far, and it's also a good mix of genres to start off with. :3 And I mean sure, you probably already knew that, but hey. Making sure you remember Advance Wars, as so few people do. ;)

aren't there going to be like zero games for the 360 for a couple months save for Perfect Dark Zero and a bunch of rehashed sports games? o.o
