The 360 returns! (sort of)

The Good
My XBox 360 has returned! This means I can finally play Dead Rising.

The Bad
Its neither the same 360 nor hard drive. This means all the downloaded content I had will need to be redownloaded and all the save games which were location locked I have lost. (These are Halo 2 and saves for Zuma and Bejewled 2 :( which I was slowly working on.)

The Seriously Freaking Awful
This morning a container style portable site office was installed over the road before UPS got here with my 360. On trying the brand new 360, the controllers had trouble rebinding to it and kept dropping off. I stepped out to ask if they were using any radio equipment over there, but no. Their Power Generator though.. As soon as it turned off around lunch time, everything started working fine. I have no idea how long the office is going to be there and when it is going to be 'active'. I can buy a cheap wired controller for my 360 from eBay if it becomes bad but if my Bluetooth based Wii is effected by it, my next gen console experience is officially ruined. :(

I see you have the same Bads as me. Soddin' MS lost my HD and they had to send me a new one - which I am still waiting for. >:( I hope the Wii and XBox 360 controllers don't interfere with each other, it's bad enough that the 360 interferes with the digisender without it interfereing with other consoles. >:(

Oh no, I'm sure Nintendo would of tested for such things. And they use two different systems. XBox 360 uses a unique rf based system. Wii uses a customised bluetooth solution.

Construct a faraday cage inside your room. It's pretty easy to do... if you don't mind looking wierd.
