Before I go:

Good stuff:

  • Went out and got more new work clothes. Can be smart and stuff next week.
  • Had steak after shopping, was quite tasty.
  • I've been selected to take part in the Trillian Astra Alpha testing, so far it looks quite nice.
  • Played a little Crackdown and then chatted on the phone to orona_red

Bad stuff:

  • Had my bedroom window smashed by an unknown chav. Despite multiple angry phone calls by my house-mates, we could not get the police to bother to turn up.
  • Because of this, my window will have to be repaired while I am away, I will thusly need to take my PC offline rather than have it online for remote access and move it to Nanaki's room since it will be close to where people will have to work.
  • Following all of this, I need to be at the McDonald's carpark at 8:30am tomorrow (current time 3:17am) to meet people who will run me down to the training which starts at 11am. I hope people will be understanding and I will be able to get more sleep in the car.

See you in a week.

Wow, well that really fucking sucks. I hope they tripped on something and fell down hard enough to shatter every bone in their bodies.

Police can either be incredibly helpful or total dicks. There's someone you can write to and complain; you should do that as soon as possible. I lost some respect for the Police when I was mugged and they decided not to report it as a crime because they probably weren't going to catch the guy. Way to fudge the statistics, there, guys.

You should have just called The Agency directly: You have their number, right? :)

Good luck with worky things, too.

"Had stake after shopping, was quite tasty."

Are you quite sure you didn't, in fact, have a steak instead?

Aw man.. They let YOU test Astra and I don't get to see/use the pretties.. ;_; I applied for the beta as well and they haven't said a single word to me. I guess they only say something to the people they choose for their beta tests. >_> Guess its better than a mass email to like thousands of people.

I hear they have a special website for the beta test members. Of course you must have an Astra ID to log in. It looks so shiny but alas, I can't look closer since I'm not part of the beta test.

Wonder when it'll go public.. @_@

Apart from the new look, there isn't much 'new' yet really. And the online Flash based clients aren't working so well for me right now.
They are soon to give out 'invites' though to testers to invite friends so I'll let you know when that happens. ;)
